自1968年泰勒創作的《光環》被正式收入丹麥國家芭蕾舞團定目舞碼後，其無數作品為全球多達七十五個舞團演出。雲門舞集就曾分別於1991及93年詮釋過《光環》以及《海濱大道》這二部作品。

林懷民描述泰勒舞團演出《光環》的肢體及風格，「簡單明快的動作，樸素的構圖，煥發的精力，《光環》舞出生命的喜悅」，並提及雲門獲得授權演出《光環》。
