《紅樓夢》1983年10月31日於台北社教館首演，1994年重新修訂。

曹雪芹的《紅樓夢》始於青埂峰下頑石謫落凡塵，而以男主角賈寶玉出家入空門作結；透過寶玉，寶釵，黛玉的戀愛，以及舊時代貴族家庭的興衰，探討生命的榮枯與人生的無常。這齣舞劇無意細述《紅樓夢》曲折的故事，而以小說的提示作為起舞的出發點。舞蹈在削髮出家，「出了園子的年輕人」的回憶中展開。

再美的夢也須告別 紅樓夢上海封箱。
